  • Can I pay the membership fee without a Swedish bank account?
    It should be fine to make a foreign payment from your bank to our bank giro number. To do so, you sometimes need to enter some additional information such as BIC/IBAN: HANDSESS / SE57 6000 0000 0005 1882 9138 and name of account holder: Konstkåren.
  • How do I know if I am a member?
    On the member portal, you can see if you are a member of Konstkåren. This can also be checked, among other things, when the last payment was made. Log in to medlem.konstkaren.se to see information about your membership
  • I can't log in to the member portal!
    The first time you log in to the member portal, you may need to click on "forgot your password?" to restore. You will then receive an email with recovery instructions to the email that is registered (usually the student email). Then it's just a matter of choosing your own password, which you can then use in the future.
  • When do my extra queue days enter SGS?
    Your membership is registered on March 1st and October 1st and sent to SGS, then SGS registers you to the system on April 1st and November 1st. This is due to SGS procedures.
  • I have not received any extra queue days at SGS!
    In order for the days to be entered automatically, you need to be registered with the same social security number and email address in both systems (Konstkåren and SGS). Check that it matches.
  • I have received an avi but do not want to pay it. Will I incur any reminder fees on it?
    No, it's fine not to pay the membership fee if you don't want to. The invoice sent out is only an offer and a reminder and nothing happens if you throw it away.
